Alpha Prime - A thrilling FPS game

Alpha Prime is a singleplayer first-person shooter game developed by Black Element Software. The game is set in a distant future where a space asteroid mining corporation finds a never-before-seen asteroid with the richest deposits of a mineral that powers intergalactic space vessels. However, the miners sent to mine the asteroid become both homicidal and suicidal due to the high amount of the mineral. The asteroid is sealed off, and Arnold Weiss is recruited by his old friend for a search and rescue mission.

The game features ten open-ended levels with interactive environments. The gameplay resembles the classic first-person shooters of the early 2000s with several new additions. Players can hack terminals to reveal events that occurred on the asteroid before the mining mission's evacuation, and sometimes solve basic hacking puzzles to proceed. Additionally, the game features a Max Payne influenced bullet time that allows players to slow down time in challenging combat situations.

The game's soundtrack, composed by Czech musician Kasny Jaroslav, was highly praised by critics. All sixteen tracks were released to the public free of charge.
